Cape Verde is full of rumors, and this one, was a joke instead of bad rumors, I guess.
    Thanks for the update.

What do you expect Mac? That’s Cape Verde man! People are relaxed, no rush, no worries, just taking one day at time. Do you think they want their job to go away? No way Jose. They want this job to last as long as they live. That’s the nature of capeverdians. Have you been in Cape Verde before?

Tough task to ease your mind mon ami!! My Apt. in Block C has been delayed 1 1/2 year. Most likely it will be 2 years delay before completion of each block, to be on the optimistic side. Someone has to go broke for others to get rich!!!!

The rest….try to use an educated guess.

Jackie, are you a clone of Sarah Palin or what? Don’t play victim Now! You’re the first one starting with offenses on this site, putting down the integrity of my post, and you have the guts to ask Daniel to remove my post? Read below if your memory is a bit short:

Listening to Tropinca on this forum is really off putting and like you spin I would less if we could, however, I’m beginning to wonder if he is not a plant from another developer.

    Jackie”

You said I made some threats. Where? Are you OK of your mind? I ridicule your buddy RJ post since he picked up where you left off to continue attacking my integrity. When people are stupid they should keep their nose off from things they have no clue. I respect your investment but don’t come and tell me that’s the greatest thing ever done, since the person you’re dealing with is taking good care of your business…most likely, yes…

But again, I limited myself to respond to RJ’s offenses: Read again, an extract from RJ you bozzo:

“Tropical guy, go and have a lie down or a spliff.
BTW I’m not advocating the use of illegal substances

Read my response to him and point out to me some threats I made!

Dont’t start something if you can NOT stand on your feet. Just remember I know Cape Verde inside out. You should be thankful to me for giving you some tips. You are blind about so many things that go on in the Islands. I am sure you’ll be sorry of your life when you find out the reality. But again if you take your loss and still be happy, it is up to you. IT IS NOT MY PROBLEM!!! We are different animals! Another thing for you to consider: I lived in Cape Verde and still have roots back there. I know the good, the bad, and the ugly of both world. What about you?

Just because your husband owns a couple gas stations you think you should come here and make statements, that I may be a plant from another developer?… Have a common sense for crying aloud!!! There are a lot “SArah Palins” in this world, no doubt!…..

Daniel, In most forums ,people issuing threats are removed. Is it acceptable on this forum?

Can you show where you spotted some threats from my post like I did with your offenses?

    Welcome to SAL!!!

Don’t forget to bring your wife too!

Just don’t come and ruin my country! We have enough trash already…We’ll keep an eye on people like you! Express orders and instructions have been sent to the field!

What a genius you are!!! Do all the Sinners have a sign on their forhead?

How do you tell the difference between a dead brain and an ignorant person like yourself? Are you related to some no name species?

The power of your reasoning is the ultimate receipe for success! Which University did you attend? Oxford or Cambridge? What’s your IQ?

You must be one of those with a few pennies in bank and believe you conquered the world already! So patetic!

If you keep your mouth shut no s%#t will come out and no flies will get in. You still can be a genius!

    Don’t pist me off….

Jackie, you MUST BE A STUPID HEAD for sure. I bought an apartment like yourself but you seem to get a good deal for being such a brownie.
For your personal Info, I am a native from Cape Verde, and I know my country better than some idiots like yourself.

If you knew a tiny bit about what’s going on in the Island you wouldn’t be barking in here about things that you have no clue.

I hope it is not too late when you find out the MESS you got into, and I hope you don’t cross my way in SAL.

They can not pay anybody because they’re broke. Remember they expect you to make your payments so they can build. That’s how business works in Cape Verde. Right now they are in trouble making payments for the License to build, never mind making payments for the compensations. Also do not forget the other infrastructures will never be built.

They have money to pay for the compensations but they WON’T because they are involved in other businesses in the Island,(Like CVerdian AirLine…et. etc.) and edverything is going down the tubes.

Therefore be ready for NO COMPENSATION.

Against all odds I have been informed by my solicitor at NDR today that Turinvest has informed that the last missing document (horizontal property I believe)has been issued. Although he advised that he still needs to receive and check the document it seems that everything has now been sorted.
Let us see if we can finally wrap this up and start enjoying!…

Very True Buckie. This is what you DON’T KNOW.Turinvest offered a contract to all the Best lawyers in Cape Verde, and guess what? Only a few didn’t accept the deal and basically you can NOT hire these lawyers to go against Turinvest. It will be a conflict of interest. Very Smart move, isn’t it?

Only cheap Solicitors are left to work on most of these cases and they are not qualified to win the case for you in court. Besides these courts procedures will take years, and that’s what Turinvest is best at. They know the Cape Verde judicial system doesn’t work, and they use it to their advantage. It is sucks, isn’t it? Do you want to wait 5, 6 years to have your case resolved? That’s what you have to wait. Do these solicitors tell you that? Nope. you’ll be aggravated as a hell when you come to find out all this… I bet ya!!!

You must hire a competent Lawyer that knows what to do in this case and win the case for you against Turinvest in less than a year or so. But this come at some price. Anyway, if you win the case Turinvest will pay most of the court expenses, and I am positive they don’t want to go that way. I bet you when they see you hired a competent lawyer, that won’t buckle under their weight, they will be willing to negotiate with you. Otherwise, you better accept the deal they offered you, and chill out!!!!

That’s my thought on these issues we’re all having against Turinvest.
I know it is not easy, and in the end some people will be ready to kill somebody… Noooo!!! God forbid…[:)]

Most of these blocks were built without previous Licenses. Turinvest just got those building Licenses recently. Does this tell anybody what kind of Company are we dealing with?
I really fell sorry for everybody, including myself to get shafted so mercylessly!
