Hello guys!
I have some problems to find the information about the visa in my case. We would like to visit Cape Verde soon. I have Russian passport, but I’ve lived in Denmark for 4 years and going to fly to Cape Verde from Denmark. Should I have visa before arriving to Cape Verde or can I just get it in the airport? there is no consulate of Cape Verde in Copenhagen and nobody knows about the visa rules concerning my case…..

you can get visa at the airport
Hello Elvira,
I’m not sure, that there is “no problem” at the airport to get the visum.
This is easy for citizens of the European Union.
But although you live in Denmark, you have a Russian Passport. ❗Perhaps you can ask at the ambassy of Cabo Verde in Germany/Berlin, Savangerstr.
They can give you certainly exact informations. 😀Ariminum
Thank you for the answer:) I’ll try:)
Hi, maybe it’s still actual for you, as I have a similar case: A citizen of Belarus living in Sweden.
When I applied for my Cape Verde visa in Stockholm it said they take in applications for all the Nordic countries. The application is done via post (by sending in your passport and documents) and takes about 10 days to receive back your passport with the visa by post.
Hope this helps if not too late 🙂
