HI all owners in block c,
I have been told that the swimming pool is now empty and is not getting filled anymore.The repair is not getting done as Fabrizio has not had any response from the quote.
If you are willing to pay your share approx 250 could you please email Fabrizio.
I know we should not have to pay and Turnivest should, but that will never happen,so lets get this pool repaired so we can all enjoy it.Jean
Am not too bothered at the present about the pool as from what we heard last the leak has been reduced to a manageable amount which will not cause any damage to the block. Everyone will have to get their thinking caps on at next AGM for a solution. As i have said before if Turinvest coughed up what they owe the Condo we would be able to have the repair done. Fab mentioned a change in the law in CV that would allow us to take them to court. Lets hope this happens as they still have assets if no cash. You should know by now that flight prices in the Summer are too dear. Wait till November for bargins especially as Thomas Cook will be flying there as well.

lol if we are going to wait to take turinvest to court to get the pool fixed then it wont be in my lifetime you say you are not bothered but people aren’t renting as no pool owners are now losing money and are fast losing interest not me because we don’t rent ours but the block is not looking in good shape
it will end up full of locals on really cheap long term rents as they will be the only ones wanting to live therechez

Sorry, i have a bit more time now. I said i was not too bothered at the present, as the pool is available for use again so hopefully the rental problems will disappear. Long term of course i am not happy about the situation. We were led to believe that our Block was due for painting soon and if the place is not being maintained properly then Fab will be getting some earache when the regulars go out over the Winter. I am going to try to make a concerted effort to attend the next AGM. If i remember correctly Fab was going to cut off the Electricity supply to the apartments belonging to Condo non payers even if they are being rented out. I have heard nothing since. If apartment owners who are paying Condo, unlike Turinvest, choose to rent to locals ,then that is their business.We are after all in their country.
does anybody have a decent contact for the builders/company- I am still, allegedly, the proud owner of the pile of bricks that is supposed to be block D!!! would appreciate any help
cheersThey do not answer my e mails. I am trying to get repairs done under building guarantee. When i am out there i sometimes see their man walking around Djadsal blocks but when you quiz him the answer is the same, we are skint ! If they are skint why are they still trading ? Hear rumours that they are trying to sell E to raise funds to finish D but nothing seems to happen.

try your lawyers they may still be in contact with someone from turinvest but as john says they just say they have no money left you could try a couple of people of the block d thread

john I know we are in their country but people want to rent to tourists and cant because the block is not in good shape so they take the other option long term rent for little return but at least they are getting something I relly don’t know which way it will go when you going out again john ?

41 apartments have paid up to now. I asked him to name and shame the ones that Have not paid but he gave me no response on that.JeanYou are lucky Jean, i cannot get a reply from the office.

They have been topping their pool up for a while. Will be interesting to see how they go on raising the money.
