Hi Optiontrader!

I haven't got involved for quite some time in posting comments as I was totally fed up (and disgusted) at all the alpha males verbally abusing each other! However, new year and all that......

I'm more than happy to get involved (I've deposited for a villa, so more than 120k euros down already) Would you suggest we all emailed Tony or have you something else in mind. We'll go along with anything that strengthens our voice and legal position.

Regards

Yelki

Hi Anielka,

If you e-mail Tony, we can organise a group then decide what action we can take. We all have substantial funds involved and the more heads we have the stronger the group.

Terry.

Hello, all,
As you know, I sell furniture, but for a few months, now, I have been doing more things. I am an independent professional specialising in research, development, sales and marketing and contact. This in many fields.
I am aware of your problems with your investments in CV, with the delays in construcion (or lack of construction for some....) and or the conclusion of the notarized deed for completed that takes forever.
I want to let you know that I work a Consulting company in Sal, with a European boss, that is able and licensed, through its associated lawyers, to help you all in resolving the abovementioned problems.
If you are interested and want mor details, please e-mail me through the "letter" icon next to my name and I'll put you in contact with them.

anyway, have a nice and sunny day!

Hi Ponta bicuda investors, below is a short clip from an article posted on Asemana.
Cape Verdean businesses seek investments from Chinese partners 24 January 2011

Projects related to tourism, a sector that has seen considerable expansion in Cape Verde over the past several years, are also seeking Chinese investment. This is the case of Santiago Golf Resort, a project based in Praia evaluated at some 600 million US dollars. The company’s CEO is Eugénio Inocêncio, economist, former ambassador and former Cabo Verde Telecom CEO, alongside Portuguese business group Sacramento Campos.

Also on the island of Santiago, the Ponta Bicuda project, evaluated at some US$ 300 million, is also looking for a partnership with an entity with experience in the sector and a “strong technical and financial capacity.” The enterprise is being led by Editur, one of the country’s largest real-estate promoters, in partnership with Portuguese group Vilas Oceânicas and Cape Verdean politician and businessman José Filomeno Monteiro.
Good Luck Diver.

Had a call from Carla yesterday staing an offer was on the way - any of you receive anything yet?

It was quite obvious they don't have funds to build this out and Diver's post confirms this. She stated the court is still yet to decide and they want to move things forward with their friendly clients (whatever that meant.

I'll let you know if I get the promissed email.

Hi guys. My wife recived a call from the developers today. A lady said that she was trying to speak to all the investors and that we will be notified of the offer within a week. There are 3 options as she understood it. Transfer the deposit to a Brazilian deposit or convert the deposit into an equity share in the development company. The 3rd option was another equity option which my wife struggled to comprehend due to the language barrier. She was told that there is no chance of a return of cash (obviously my preferred option) as there is no money.

Hopefully we will learn more imminently.
